Artist Statement:My name is Hilse Poletti-Martin. I am an artist born in Valencia, Venezuela and have been living and working in Miami, Florida, for more than 20 years. My work is mostly done with acrylics on canvas and papers with a variety of mediums. I started painting many years ago and I haven’t stopped. I have painted with many master painters and I enjoy learning different techniques from working on a workshop environment.
I’m fascinated by the use of colors and textures, and I believe them bring strength to my work.
