Cultural Studies
Cultural Studies has become a major presence in academic institutions in English-speaking countries. One of the main reasons for this is that cultural studies is truly interdisciplinary, engaging with disciplines such as literature, film studies, communication and media studies among others.
Both the Department of English and German Studies and the T-CLAA Research Group in the Universitat Rovira i Virgili are aware of the growing social and cultural demand in this area and have organized a Masters degree in Cultural Studies in English: Texts and Contexts. This programme will be taught entirely in English. It aims to respond to local and foreign demands to train specialists in the field and promote advanced academic research.
