On the 4th June, four years ago, La Botiga de la Catedral opened its doors, it began in a modest manner with the resources in hand at that time and we can say that today it has become consolidated, despite difficulties, but little by little they have been overcome, the aims proposed have been acheived and we are pleased with the response from visitors to the Cathedral, tourists, priest, cathecist who have visited the Botiga with the service offered.
It was born with the intention of helping the Cathedral, offering tourists some record of the Cathedral and Tarragona also with the aim of offering a service to the parishes and believers, as specific material for liturgy and personal faith is not easy to find, and then only in a shop which specializes in these items. All the profits made by the Botiga are destined to the maintainment of the Cathedral and in a concrete form to the restoration of the Chapel of Saint Tecla.
We are grateful for the felicitations received and we would ask you to mention us when possible, regarding the Botiga to your friends who will be well received here by José María and Carmen, in a space to share with you friends.
