:: TRANSLATION

Translation is much more::
than replacing words ::

Translators have to make decisions all the time: how to clearly transmit a complex idea, which is the best term for a certain type of text, how to express something which has no equivalent in the target culture, how to keep the same style as the original while respecting one’s own language...

Good translators must be sensitive, intuitive, painstaking and, of course, committed to a job well done. These qualities are nurtured throughout one’s lifetime, and they help us to apply the most appropriate strategies and techniques to solve the problems arising with each different text.
